In particular, we are a bridge between our journalists and BBC Research & Development, applying deep technical expertise to the specific challenges in BBC News. This helps new thinking enter production, where it can be used daily by our staff and audiences around the world.
We are a diverse team with backgrounds in broadcast and digital journalism, software development, broadcast technology, project management, and user experience design.
We build partnerships with academic, not-for-profit, and commercial bodies around the world to assist innovation.
