This pilot originated from the World Service: Connected Studio - Nairobi event, aka #newsHACK IV.

What is it?

BBC DROP is a responsive website that pulls together BBC content based on a users social media profiles or their choice of topics.

This is presented in an elegant, swipe able and user-friendly design developed with African users.

The product learns and improves the content selected based on the user's "likes", "shares' and "skips" of pages.

Swipe left to like, right to skip and up to share via twitter, Facebook and WhatsApp
