Aims

An open-source tool that allow developers and journalists to view their websites in their mobile, tablet and desktop views

Since the release of the News Switcher, the News Labs team have come to discover that the need to view the appearance of websites across various devices is commonplace across many teams around the world.

In view of this, the team has released the Device Switcher - an open-source project that offers the ability to view the appearance of websites on various devices through an entirely new interface that streamlines the user experience.

The source code is available through the official Device Switcher GitHub repository from which developers may fork, download or contribute to the project.

An online demo has been set-up on GitHub pages in order to allows users to try the tool for themselves, whilst the associated documentation may be found within the GitHub repository.
