Alli Shultes is a software engineer in News Labs. She also writes for BBC Technology Online.

Alli originally joined News Labs as an outreach and engagement producer, organising industry-wide events and running the team's blog and social media channels. Before that, she worked as a computing teaching assistant for Goldsmiths, University of London and as an assistant digital producer for al Jazeera English.

She holds an MSc in Digital Journalism from Goldsmiths and a BA in English Literature from Swarthmore College, PA. Outside the office, you can find her jamming with the London Roller Derby.
