Biography
Eimi Okuno is a former software engineer in News Labs, creating prototypes such as Secure-Contact and SUMMA in the last year. SUMMA (Scalable Understanding of Multilingual Multimedia) is an EU funded project. The EU Consortium evaluated the project as "excellent" for its final evaluation. Prior to News Labs, she developed software for CDNs. Her background is in Fine Art - she studied at Central Saint Martins and Slade School of Fine Art, where she became interested in robotics. Eimi also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science.
