Joe Whitwell

Journalist at BBC News Labs
Graphic squiggles

Joe used to write for BBC News about technology and business. Now he spends time in newsrooms making sure that News Labs builds tools that can be used easily by our journalists. He is fascinated by emerging and experimental technology and what makes founders and entrepreneurs tick.

He has a background in computational linguistics so likes to look at natural language generation, sentiment analysis and other problems. He still occasionally contributes to BBC News Online and BBC Radio.
